Hi Sam, I've never commented here before but I've been following the blog for a bit. Figured this was as good a post as any to comment on.

I saw that clip on youtube a couple days ago and was ecstatic to see footage of The Ears, a few friends and I came across (by way of good acquaintances) some of the Ears' recordings and have been enjoying the music a lot.

Hope the reunion goes well, wish I could be there to see it.

Thanks for taking the plunge, I really love getting comments, no matter how brief or whatever.

I wish we'd done more proper recordings at the time. It's so much easier now, but then it was a big and expensive deal getting into a studio. We're going to try to do a good recording of the Sails of Oblivion show and include it on the Ears CD.

By the way, all, the chap doing the cover art for the Beargarden CD has disappeared overseas to some psychonomic Goa-trance rave apparently without finishing it, so, more delays!

I really enjoyed watching that one Sam, I don't remember seeing it on tv back then though. I still can't believe you never "cracked" the charts with those looks and voice, you had everything a girl would have loved back in the Eighties:)) Maybe the music was too "edgey" compared to all the other crap on the charts back then.

Can't wait for the gig in a couple of weeks, hope you'll be wearing that stripey t-shirt and fluffy hair haha!
