Yes indeed.
Change is good.

The really wonderful improvement to our lives is that, whatever else he does, Rudd does not have a sulky face and a whiney manner of speech.

Howard, whose voice will not be forced on us anymore, could inform us we'd won the lottery and it would sound like bad news.

On the other hand, we won't be hearing the brilliance of John Clarke's potrayal of the schoolboy either.

(god I hope that link worked, I did it from memory)

Happy for you Sam. I wanted to see the mudwrestling between Costello and Turnbull though.. no fun! Will Garrett get spat out now that Labor's in? Will be interesting to see Mr Sheen's new cabinet.Hoping, hoping for some positive news for the rural sector.. but that's just me being selfish :) The Campari became red wine became port became Berocca

Congratulations on the change of regime! I happily followed the results last night. Now if we can just get our own change next year....

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm still severely under the weather. I'm stupid. I think I poisoned myself ...

Bwca, I also find it hard remembering the html when you want to put a link in comments. Watch out pasting quotations marks from Word, they don't seem to work like 'normal' quotation marks. Indeed, they are probably very complicated over-engineered microsoft quotation marks

Excellent me too. Still.

You weren't serious when you said you "poisoned" yourself were you???? Are you ok Sam?

Every once in a while, if I get too excited about something that's happening, I forget to regulate my alcohol intake - and poison myself. Thanks for your concern, I've been in bed for a couple of days, but I'm up and about now. I really shouldn't do it. My body isn't up to it.
